Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) - 13 Week Contract

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for a dynamic role in the operating room setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedic and trauma cases and will be required to take calls on a limited basis. This is a great opportunity for RNs who are passionate about providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room
• Deliver direct nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Effectively manage patient anxiety and pain pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
• Participate in ongoing education and training related to perioperative nursing

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in good standing
• Completion of PeriOp 101 or similar surgical nursing program
• Experience with orthopedic and trauma cases
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Schedule

This position offers a day shift from 7 AM to 7 PM, with a requirement to take calls 4-6 times a month, including upcoming holidays.
