Personnel Plus, Inc. is now hiring a Forklift Operator/Material Handler in Boise, Idaho.
Our client, a local manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator/Material Handler to support material flow throughout a busy production facility. This is an excellent temp-to-hire opportunity with a four-day workweek and an outstanding benefits package upon hire.
Pay and schedule: $21/hour to start. Swing shift, Monday–Thursday, 4:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m. Occasional Friday overtime as needed. Temp-to-hire with excellent benefits!
What you’ll do:
- Load, unload, move, and deliver materials throughout the facility using a forklift
- Receive incoming materials and deliveries
- Fill and deliver material orders for multiple departments
- Load materials into vehicles and secure loads using strapping, bracing, or padding
- Help maintain a steady and organized flow of materials throughout production
- Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Safely use hand tools and material-handling equipment
- Assist with other duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
- At least 6 months of forklift experience loading and unloading materials
- Recent warehouse, manufacturing, or material-handling experience preferred
- Skilled and safe forklift operation; a forklift driving test will be administered
- Forklift certification not required
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to safely lift and handle up to 75 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
