Description

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Nuclear Medicine Physician to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center. To this day, Jacobi remains a respected leader in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women's Health. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:

• Provide daily nuclear medicine clinical coverage, including diagnostic, general, and cardiac imaging, as well as radiopeptide therapies.
• Participate in the teaching and education of radiology residents.
• Review and modify existing protocols and assist with developing new protocols, as needed.
• Counsel patients and their families regarding radiation safety in preparation for therapy.
• Complete assigned projects that support the nuclear medicine service, radiology department, and institution.
• No after-hours or weekend call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Nuclear Medicine by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM).
• New York State Medical License (or ability to obtain).
• Nuclear Cardiology certification preferred.
• CT interpretation certification is a plus.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $295,276* (board eligible); $300,276* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $364,803** (board eligible) and $370,303** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:

• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
• Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
