Qualifications for Customer Service Representative
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Customer service or client service experience
- Previous inside sales experience is preferred
- Industrial supplies experience is a plus
- Familiarity with CRM systems and processes is a plus
Responsibilities for Customer Service Representative
- Manage incoming customer calls
- Identify and assess customer needs
- Provide price and delivery commitments
- Enter orders into the system
- Verify customer ship-to and bill-to information
- Develop relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
- Evaluate customer complaints and provide appropriate solution alternatives
- Maintain records of customer interactions
