Electronics Technician

January 21 – March 31 We are urgently seeking an experienced Electronics Technician for a short-term contract assignment aboard the USNS Matthew Perry while the vessel is in a shipyard in Portland, Oregon . ⚠️ This is an immediate need. Non-local candidates must be able to travel no later than January 20th. Contract Dates: January 21 through March 31 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM No work on Saturdays or Sundays Location: Portland, OR (shipyard-based work aboard vessel) Local candidates preferred Responsibilities Perform electronics troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs aboard vessel during shipyard period Support shipboard electronic systems and equipment Coordinate with shipyard personnel and ship’s crew as required Follow all shipyard safety and security protocols Requirements Proven experience as an Electronics Technician (marine or shipboard experience preferred) Ability to work aboard a U.S. Naval ship in a shipyard environment Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Reliable, safety-focused, and able to mobilize quickly Local candidates preferred For non-local contractors , lodging, transportation, and per diem will be provided Non-local candidates must be able to fly out no later than January 20th How to Apply This is a time-sensitive opportunity.
