Job Title: Plant Line Captain Location: Vandalia, OH Type: Contract Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: Thursday-Sunday 8:00am-6:30pm and 7:00pm-5:30am (shift details included)

Responsibilities

• Ensure production quality meets specifications
• Communicate issues to supervisor and area manager
• Ensure line is running efficiently
• Provide mentoring to leads, promote mentoring of staff
• Make work priority list for personnel for utilization of time/capabilities
• Coordinate the flow of products through the department
• Manage the quality, availability, and affordability of the product line
• Assign workers to line positions as per play sheet, rotate workers throughout shift
• Manage all production line functions and resources to meet quality, cost, and schedule
• Make sure workers are performing duties according to play sheet
• Communicate with supervisor to improve line performance
• Help admin perform changeover procedure
• Work on line only to temporarily cover position if required

Requirements

• High School Diploma Required
• Experience on manufacturing line
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated problem solving and attention to detail
