Job Title: Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner - Clear Lake Area Location: Clear Lake / Southeast Houston Area (Facility-Based) Job Type: Full-Time / 1099 Salary Range: $140,000 - $220,000 / year Job Description: Clarius Medical Group, PLLC is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our team serving the Clear Lake / Southeast Houston area. This is a full-time, in-person position where you will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, medical stabilization, and treatment of adult patients within a facility setting. As an Internal Medicine NP with our group, you will work alongside a team of skilled healthcare professionals to maintain our standard of excellence in patient care. This position demands a proactive approach to managing teen/ adult patient health, encompassing diagnostic assessments, management of acute/chronic issues, and the implementation of effective treatment plans during their stay at the facility. Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather information about health history and physical condition. Comfortable treating teen and adult patients, conducting comprehensive or episodic health histories, and managing acute, chronic, and/or potential health problems. Formulate, execute, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to each patient's specific medical needs. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems. Collaborate with other healthcare providers and facility staff to discuss and manage patient care, ensuring a cohesive treatment approach. Prescribe medications following state and federal guidelines and regulations. Provide guidance and counseling to patients and their families regarding treatments and care plans. Maintain patient records with utmost accuracy and privacy in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Requirements & Qualifications: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution. Must be Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner in Texas Active Texas APRN / Nurse Practitioner license. Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration. Previous outpatient or facility-based clinical experience is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously and provide care without direct physician supervision. Familiarity with medical software/EHR (eClinicalWorks experience is a plus). Ability to build rapport with patients, family members, and professional staff.
