As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Examiner in Sauget, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and/or materials in accordance with site procedures. You will remain attentive, communicate professionally, document security-related activity, and help deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $17.98 / Hour

Day Time Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, and authorized property entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, driver, and delivery activity as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including the business, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
