Credentialing Assistant (100% Remote)

Looking for a great entry point into a growing healthcare profession? Join the MaineHealth Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO) team as a Credentialing Assistant in a 100% remote role.

In this position, you'll provide administrative and clerical support by answering incoming calls, managing correspondence, sending credentialing applications, and helping ensure provider information is accurate and up to date. You'll collaborate with providers and teams across the organization, making strong communication, organization, and customer service skills essential to success.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
2. License/Certifications: CPCS Certification preferred.
3. Experience: One year of office experience required.

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package.


The pay range for this position is $19.87 to $23.75 per hour.


Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
