WE'RE HIRING: GENERAL FOREMAN & FOREMAN

Data One Construction is seeking experienced General Foreman and Foreman for large-scale data center electrical projects. Lead skilled crews installing critical power systems, cable tray, communication cabling, and electrical distribution for hyperscale data centers.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE

GENERAL FOREMAN (2 POSITIONS)

• Megabay Cluster Wiring: Lead crew of 3 foremen, 12 journeymen, 4 apprentices
• Bloom Power Wiring: Lead crew of 2 foremen, 6 journeymen, 3 apprentices

FOREMAN (9 POSITIONS)

• Cable Tray Installation: 2 foremen leading crews (13 journeymen, 3 apprentices total)
• Megabay Grounding: 1 foreman leading crew (3 journeymen, 1 apprentice)
• Communication Cabling: 1 foreman leading crew (6 journeymen, 3 apprentices)
• Power Wiring & Cluster Wiring: 5 foremen supporting general foreman (various crew sizes)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

General Foreman:

• Oversee multiple foremen and crews on complex electrical installations
• Coordinate workflow, materials, and manpower across assigned project areas
• Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and specifications
• Ensure work meets quality standards, schedules, and safety requirements
• Interface with project managers, engineers, and client representatives
• Track productivity, resolve issues, manage crew assignments
• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA compliance

Foreman:

• Lead crew of journeymen and apprentices on electrical installations
• Assign daily tasks, provide direction, ensure quality workmanship
• Read blueprints, coordinate with other trades, order materials
• Track crew productivity and maintain project schedules
• Ensure safety compliance and proper PPE usage
• Report progress to general foreman and project management
• Train and mentor apprentices

PROJECTS YOU'LL WORK ON

Megabay Cluster Wiring:

• Medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) distribution
• Critical power system connections
• Data hall electrical infrastructure

Cable Tray:

• Large-scale cable tray installation and support systems
• Coordination with multiple trades
• High-volume production work

Communication Cabling:

• Structured cabling systems
• Fiber optic and copper installations
• Data center network infrastructure

Grounding Systems:

• Equipment grounding
• Building grounding grid
• Critical system bonding

Power Wiring:

• Electrical distribution systems
• Feeder installations
• Panel and equipment connections

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

General Foreman:

• 10+ years electrical construction experience
• 5+ years as foreman or general foreman
• Data center, mission-critical, or industrial electrical experience
• Licensed Journeyman Electrician (required)
• Proven ability to manage multiple crews and complex projects
• Strong blueprint reading and planning skills
• Experience with large-scale electrical distribution systems

Foreman:

• 7+ years electrical construction experience
• 3+ years as foreman or lead electrician
• Commercial, industrial, or data center electrical experience
• Licensed Journeyman Electrician (required)
• Crew leadership and scheduling experience
• Blueprint reading and material coordination
• Safety-focused leadership

Both Positions:

• Valid driver's license
• OSHA 30 certification (or willing to obtain)
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Reliable, professional, accountable

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Data center construction experience
• MV/LV electrical distribution experience
• Cable tray and communication cabling installation
• Experience with large crews (10+ electricians)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• First Aid/CPR certification
