ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, PACU (Day Shift) in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

3x12-hour shifts: 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, including call 1 night per week (9:30 PM - 7:00 AM) and weekend call for Saturday and Sunday.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care primarily in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), focusing on patients post-surgery. RNs will be expected to administer medications, assess patient conditions, and maintain compliance with safety and clinical standards as dictated by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
• Conduct pre-operative and post-operative assessments.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records using Cerner.
• Provide patient and family education on post-surgical care.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in critical situations as needed.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Experience in the PACU or similar settings is a plus.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active PA or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
