Information Technology Project Manager

We’re seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support a large-scale back-office transformation initiative within Global Markets Operations. This role will focus on the implementation of a new back-office platform with a targeted Go Live in Q4 2026. The primary stakeholders for this initiative are Operations and Compliance teams. The individual will join the Global Markets IT Post Trade team and work closely with IT Business Analysts, Developers, Operations, Compliance, and global project stakeholders to drive planning, coordination, governance, testing, deployment readiness, and project execution throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Project Planning & Coordination

• Maintain and manage the IT project plan and ensure alignment with the global project roadmap
• Track and manage IT change requests and project dependencies
• Update and maintain Jira project plans and Agile delivery tracking tools
• Coordinate closely with global project teams to ensure synchronization across workstreams
• Support project execution across all phases of the implementation lifecycle

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Implement project governance frameworks, escalation paths, and decision-making processes
• Ensure alignment with internal standards, audit requirements, and regulatory expectations
• Maintain auditable project artifacts, documentation, and reporting materials
• Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Deliver regular project status updates to leadership and stakeholders
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across IT, Operations, Compliance, and business teams
• Manage stakeholder expectations and drive accountability across project deliverables
• Coordinate meetings, action items, and project communications across local and global teams

Delivery, Testing & Deployment

• Support coordination of IT testing activities including UAT and release validation
• Coordinate rollout activities, production readiness, and deployment planning
• Monitor post-release defects and ensure appropriate tracking and resolution of issues
• Maintain project management and reporting tools throughout the implementation lifecycle
• Support transition and handoff activities to production support and operations teams

Project Closure & Continuous Improvement

• Obtain project sign-offs and coordinate closure activities
• Capture lessons learned and support post-implementation reviews
• Ensure all project documentation is archived and maintained appropriately

Required Qualifications

• 5–9 years of experience within Financial Services IT environments
• Experience supporting Operations, Regulatory, or Post Trade technology initiatives
• Strong Project Management experience within Banking or Capital Markets environments
• Experience collaborating across Business Analysis, IT Development, and Infrastructure teams
• Agile, Scrum, or PMP experience preferred
• Strong Jira and Agile project delivery experience
• Experience managing complex technology implementations and regulatory-driven initiatives
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, timelines, and priorities in fast-paced environments

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred
