Identification and initiation of appropriate nursing interventions. Ability to provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient. Performance of timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. The environment is fast-paced and requires strong clinical skills. The nursing staff will care for a diverse patient population including geriatric, adult, pediatrics, and OB patients. The typical patient ratio is 5:1, but may vary based on patient volume. Key equipment includes EKG, Ultrasound, LUCAS, EZ-IO, Omnicell, stretcher, wheelchair, and Medtronic EHR. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. A scrub uniform in any solid color is required. Unacceptable attire includes ill-fitting scrubs, low-cut or mid-drift revealing tops, see-through materials, and hoodies. This role does not have on-call requirements, and weekend shifts are expected every other weekend.
