About the job

As a Leasing & Marketing Specialist , you'll work alongside WorkBay's AI Leasing Assistant to engage inbound leads, guide prospective tenants through the leasing process, support property management operations, and help convert interest into booked showings. You'll monitor and improve AI-assisted customer conversations, conduct property tours, and deliver a seamless leasing experience from first inquiry through move-in.

This role combines sales, marketing, AI operations, and property management, giving you hands-on experience across multiple areas of commercial real estate while helping shape how AI and people work together to serve customers.

What You'll Do

Sales & Customer Experience

• Work alongside WorkBay's AI Leasing Assistant to engage, qualify, and nurture inbound leads across phone, text, email, website chat, Facebook Marketplace, and social media.
• Support WorkBay's AI Leasing Assistant by reviewing conversations, and step in when a prospect requires human assistance or a more complex conversation.
• Identify opportunities to improve AI responses, conversation flows, and customer experience.
• Set property tours, conduct showings, and help guide prospects through the leasing process.
• Build relationships with prospective tenants and deliver an exceptional customer experience from first inquiry through move-in.
• Document customer interactions and leasing activity in HubSpot.

AI Operations

• Monitor AI performance and identify opportunities to improve lead qualification, response quality, and conversion rates.
• Test new messaging, prompts, and conversation workflows to continuously improve AI performance.
• Identify conversation gaps, escalate technical issues, and collaborate with Marketing and Operations to improve automation.
• Use reporting and customer feedback to recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and lease conversions.

Marketing

• Create and manage Facebook Marketplace listings and social media content that generate qualified leads.
• Research competitors and customer behavior to identify opportunities that improve marketing performance.
• Collaborate with Marketing on messaging, campaigns, and lead generation strategies.

Property Management

• Support new tenant move-ins and create a smooth onboarding experience.
• Assist with rent collection and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Conduct routine property inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Partner with Operations to maintain clean, professional, and welcoming properties.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, marketing, or real estate preferred.
• Curious about emerging technology and excited to learn new AI tools and workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experience.
• Experience using HubSpot or another CRM preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing one) in Marketing, Business, Sales, or a related field preferred.

Compensation

• $40,000–$50,000 annually, depending on experience
