Job Description Starting Date: Aug 31, 2026 Provide special education instruction for students in a co‑taught setting and offer academic support outside of the classroom. Work collaboratively with other teachers and administration to meet student needs. Position Details Position: Long Term Special Education Teacher Location: McCarthy Middle School, Chelmsford, Massachusetts Assignment Dates: 08/31/2026 – 09/27/2026 (dates subject to change) Job ID: 5797228 Position Type: Full‑time Salary: $200 to $200 Per Day Responsibilities Provide special education instruction in a co‑taught classroom setting. Offer academic support to students outside of the classroom environment. Collaborate with teachers and school administration to meet individual student needs. Qualifications MA DESE Teaching License: PreK‑8 or 5‑12 Moderate Special Needs license. Training and experience with specialized reading programs preferred. Experience modifying and adapting curriculum to ensure student access. Experience with IEP development. Strong organizational skills. Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
