Brief overview of role
This role supports the claims department and requires prior insurance experience, including familiarity with claims billing, processing, and coding, as well as researching and validating claims information. Candidates must have at least two years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Claims Analyst, or Claims Processor.
Responsibilities include creating and maintaining reports and spreadsheets related to claims aging, coordination of benefits, precertifications, and other claims activities.
Is this role tied to a specific project, initiative, or operational need?
Addt'l support needed because associates have moved to other positions or to HNAS due to the migration.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required skills and experience
Advanced Excel (Pivot tables and V look ups), Adobe or Fox-It is mandatory. Prior project management is needed.
Preferred skills and experience
Luminex is a plus. Project and time management. Problem solving. Organizational skills. Oracle is a plus.

50% Research and improve operations by examining and researching systems problems by obtaining facts, analyzing problems/identifying root cause recommending and facilitating resolution.
20% Supports operations systems by providing operating information to customers; answering questions; providing training.
20% Contributes to operations analysis and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results, development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and other essential documentation,
5% Verifies operations systems by developing testing methods; conducting and documenting tests.
5% Improves operations analysis job knowledge by attending training sessions; reading technical publications.

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Education Details: Business Administration
Experience: 2 years experience in (level 2 or above) operational role.
In Lieu of Education
In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
