Founding Full Stack Engineer (FinTech & EdTech)

EQL Tech Founding Role EQL Tech is recruiting for a founding role within a venture-backed startup building the financial infrastructure for the future of education. Our client is developing the rails that allow families to access State education funds (ESAs), unlocking a $900B US Public Education budget. With $16M raised from top-tier VCs, the team is composed of elite engineers and specialists from Stripe, SpaceX, and Goldman Sachs. As the Full Stack Lead, you will own the parent-facing mobile and web experiences from inception to launch. End-to-End Ownership: Lead the reimbursements product across mobile (receipt capture, claims) and web (statementing). System Design: Build for clarity and trust, ensuring families are never confused about eligibility or fund status. Operational Integration: Tightly link the UI with backend and ops workflows to create a reliable payments machine with clean audit trails. Data-Driven Growth: Instrument funnels and "confusion hotspots" to turn user behavior data into product improvements.
