Project Manager, Industrial Water Business development Leading team efforts for marketing and strategy development. Prospect identification, proposal development, client presentations, project budgeting and contracting. Accountable for new business objectives and overall project performance. Project management External focus: interact with assigned clients and participate in client activities. Support development of overall market business plan, market strategies, and client engagement strategies. Project execution Oversight of engineering manager(s) and development of project performance goals. Active involvement with internal project team and owner project representatives on project activities. Performance and commercial management: budgeting, invoicing, payments, and lead project performance reviews. Staff management Team development, mentoring and coaching on performance improvement. Recommendations for training, promotion of assigned professionals, and identification of new candidates. Management responsibilities Act as project manager and manage a project team, varying by project. Preferred Qualifications 15+ years of water/wastewater experience with demonstrated experience in the industrial sector. Professional Engineering License and Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline. Understanding of budgets and financial metrics. Contract negotiation skills, including knowledge of terms, risks, pricing and payment terms. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
