Pro Shop Associate

Pro Shop Staff Part-Time PositionThis position is responsible for greeting and assisting the guests at the Island Sports Center Pro Shop with their questions, needs and purchases. This is a part-time position not eligible for University benefits. Work hours are limited to 950 per calendar year and less than 29 hours per week on a regular basis.Responsibilities:Greeting guests either by telephone or as they enter the Pro Shop and recognizing their needs.Operating and maintaining the skate sharpener and skate service area.Recommending and fitting customers with equipment and apparel based on each customer's sizing needs. Entering the purchases into the Max Galaxy point of sale register and accepting payments.Restocking, organizing and cleaning the sales floor.
