SUMMARY : Oversees and coordinates daily operations of the maintenance requirements and preventative maintenance schedules. Ensure and maintain all equipment, buildings, and property in proper condition.

2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Perform highly diversified duties to direct and/or maintain facilities and the plant facility’s equipment. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of facilities and/or equipment during production, scheduled maintenance, repairs of production equipment during machine service. Performs or supervises mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of facilities and equipment. Performs basic building repairs, basic electrical repairs, and basic plumbing repairs. Read and understand technical drawings (example: blueprints, electronic/mechanical schematics, etc.) to repair and maintain equipment. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments or recommend subcontractors to address such problems. Coordinate and supervise regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. Interfaces with appropriate staff/managers to receive information regarding maintenance needs; ensures timely response to requests. Monitors and maintains proper inventory levels; authorizes purchase orders for supplies and equipment. Ensures all fire and safety inspections are completed and any discrepancies corrected; ensures property is in compliance with all safety and sanitation policies, procedures, and regulations. Ensures accurate record keeping of all Inspection Reports and documents that are required for Internal and External audits and record keeping. Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance. Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions. Performs other related duties assigned by management. ASRS Support Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the functions of the machine and have the ability to troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments in the HMI. Maintains daily production and quality records, operates the equipment in a safe manner, and keeps the work area clean. Perform routine preventative maintenance and maintain records of downtime causes and duration. Communicate clearly and effectively to counterparts that may be from other cultures or backgrounds. Execute standard safety procedures with energized equipment and follow all safety guidelines given by equipment manufacturer.

3. QUALIFICATIONS :

Four to five years related experience or equivalent. Knowledge of city and state building codes, OSHA requirements, and ADA laws; implements OSHA and ADA guidelines and programs. Knowledge of ventilation/air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other generally accepted maintenance skills. Knowledge of repairs on equipment (example: dock equipment and levelers, pneumatic systems, hydraulic equipment, electronic/electrical equipment, etc.) Operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery and other power equipment. Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates. Commitment to excellence and high standards Basic competence in subordinates’ duties and tasks Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills Ability to manage priorities and workflow. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Proficient in MS Office Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Certificate in HVAC, Building Maintenance Technology or related training is a plus.
