About the Position

Job Title: Echo Tech Profession: Echo Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 07:00-17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: RDCS/RCS/BLS Certifications: RDCS/RCS/BLS Must-Have: - TTE/TEE experience - Adult Echo experience Description: The position involves working in a heart center environment. You will perform adult echocardiograms, including TTE and TEE procedures. The patient ratio is 8 to 9 echoes performed in a 10-hour shift. You will work with advanced equipment, including the Vivid E95. The documentation system includes Echo Reporting and Meditech for electronic medical records. On-call requirements include rotation every 5-7 days, with a 13.5-hour call shift. Weekend call is also required every 5th to 7th weekend. The unit fosters a professional atmosphere, with tenured staff members averaging 7 to 25 years of experience. Advanced skills in TEE are considered a plus. Staff includes experienced echo techs and new graduates. Navy blue scrubs are the required uniform for this position.
