Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS Oncology RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time, 13-week contract assignment
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Flexible scheduling: 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour shifts (Days or Nights available)
• No on-call requirements; weekends and holidays as scheduled

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license; BSN degree preferred
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification required
• Current Florida RN license or eligibility for compact state license
• At least 2 years of recent experience in Med Surg Oncology nursing
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology and Med Surg patients, utilizing critical thinking and specialized knowledge in oncology
• Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and provide expert support during chemotherapy and other treatments
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and fellow nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in compliance with hospital standards and regulatory guidelines
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families during their care journey
