Job Description

We're seeking skilled Service Plumbers to diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems across commercial and residential properties. This role is ideal for plumbers who enjoy troubleshooting, working independently, and delivering quality service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair leaks, drainage issues, and plumbing system failures.
• Install and service water heaters, fixtures, valves, pumps, and piping systems.
• Perform drain cleaning, sewer repairs, and plumbing inspections.
• Read blueprints and plumbing schematics as needed.
• Complete preventative maintenance and recommend system improvements.
• Respond to service and emergency repair calls.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate service records.
• Communicate repair findings and recommendations with customers.
• Follow all plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle.

Skills/Qualifications

• 3+ years of plumbing service experience preferred.
• Commercial plumbing experience is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, water heaters, boilers, pumps, and drainage systems.
• Experience using plumbing tools, drain cleaning equipment, and diagnostic tools.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Journeyman license, plumbing license, or backflow certification preferred.

Work Environment

This position offers a mix of residential and commercial service work in the field. Technicians work independently at customer sites, including mechanical rooms, rooftops, and other active job environments. The role provides hands-on variety, ongoing learning opportunities, and a combination of independent work and team support, with a rotating on-call schedule.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $38.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
