Job Title Building Assistant Location Muscatine, IA Job Type Onsite Requisition ID 11271 Responsibilities Maintain company property by watering foliage, picking up litter, clearing walkways, etc. Set up conference meeting areas Deliver large packages and supplies Order and purchase general supplies Relocate equipment, supplies, and furnishings involved in office moves Perform building construction, maintenance, and repairs as necessary Maintain HVAC, lighting, electrical, plumbing Maintain building security systems along with responding to security and safety issues Other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum of 2 years relevant experience Valid driver’s license Ability to work independently and with others Working Conditions Employee may perform other duties outside of job spectrum as dictated by office workload and staffing requirements. This job may require some weekend hours as needed. Travel to outer offices and overtime may be required if moving and setting up furniture in other offices. Physical Demands The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel along with the ability to climb up and down a ladder. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 10-25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50-100 pounds.
