Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray)

Job Title: Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray) Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: South Carolina License preferred Certifications: ARRT in Radiography and Computed Tomography, BLS, ACLS (pending certifications acceptable) Must-Have: Registered in both Radiography (ARRT) and Computed Tomography (ARRT). Experience with Siemens equipment and EPIC. Experience in emergency, trauma, pediatrics, and orthopedic exams in both modalities.

Description: Multimodality Tech provides quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT. Technologist must be able to effectively explain procedures to patients. Ensure patients are competent in the procedures being performed. Technologist will produce images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. Must float within scope to meet facility needs. Must be able to work every other weekend. Must be available for on-call responsibilities as required. All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Traveler must comply with all pre-start processes in a timely manner. During hurricane season, all personnel may be assigned to emergency response teams. Health and safety protocols must be followed at all times. Technologist must maintain a radiation badge provided by the agency. Experience with charting systems, especially Epic, is required. Interdisciplinary support and interpretation services are available. The patient population will include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census may vary; close attention to patient care is a priority. Additional background in specific imaging techniques and procedures is highly regarded. Compliance with safety and operational standards is mandatory.
