Senior IT Project Manager

Senior IT Project Manager $58–$65/hour | Sterling Heights, MI Position Overview Seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-level IT projects from initiation through delivery. This role focuses on cross‑functional leadership, stakeholder management, and successful execution of projects within scope, schedule, and budget. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end project lifecycle (planning, execution, delivery) Manage multiple large-scale IT projects simultaneously Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables Develop and maintain project plans and schedules Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders and leadership Ensure adherence to project management best practices and standards Drive process improvements and operational efficiency Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams Required Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field 7–10+ years of project management experience 3+ years in a senior/leadership role Key Skills Project methodologies: Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid Tools: MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet (or similar) Stakeholder and customer management Risk management, budgeting, and scheduling Communication, leadership, and negotiation skills Preferred Qualifications PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification Experience supporting IT projects in manufacturing environments Familiarity with change management practices Key Competencies Leadership & decision‑making Strategic thinking with attention to detail Adaptability in fast‑paced environments Results‑driven mindset Work Environment Sterling Heights, MI (Hybrid/Office‑based) US Citizenship Requirement This assignment is a US Government Contract which requires all applicants to be US Citizens. #J-18808-Ljbffr Contract Professionals, Inc
