IT Staff Auditor (US - Alexandria, VA, Columbus, OH, Indianapolis, IN) Position Summary Sikich is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented auditing professional with strong leadership and information technology skills. This role is contingent upon award of contract. This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain this level of clearance. Responsibilities Demonstrating professionalism and competence in the client's environment Fostering an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment Conduct testing. Prepare acceptable workpapers, write-ups, and memos. Report audit findings to the supervisor, manager, or partner and make recommendations for the correction of unsatisfactory conditions. Executing the day-to-day IT and audit activities of the engagement and conducting fieldwork daily. Gathering audit-related data Demonstrating awareness and knowledge of the Federal Government's financial and management responsibilities Assisting in drafting and preparing project deliverables Utilizing technology to share knowledge with team members, develop skills, and continually learn. Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, and results-oriented Ability to demonstrate an understanding of accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Information Systems degree is preferred. CISA preferred. Prior audit internship/work experience or advanced degree preferred. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Ability to travel up to 25%. Minimum Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a clearance. Pay Transparency In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $71,000 .
