Journeymen ElectricianThe Journeymen Electricians will support the Field Services Group in Tomball, TX, with a focus on projects within the Water Business Unit. This role is responsible for performing electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs at water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and related infrastructure.Responsibilities:Terminate combiner boxesPanel/LV workInstall metering equipmentLayout, bend, thread and install conduitLayout and install switchgear, switchboards and electrical devicesTrench with shovel and install PVC racewayPull and terminate aluminum direct bury wireConnect and support DC wireInstall electrical enclosuresSupervise the work of apprenticesUnload and stage materialPerform electrical testing and commissioningQualifications:Minimum age: 18+Electrical Journeyman License RequiredMinimum 4 years experienceWater experience preferredGeneral knowledge of construction principles/processes requiredKnowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used on construction projectsMust have a tape measure, level, and side cutting pliers (Linemans)Proven commitment to safety and teamworkAbility to work independently and complete daily activities according to work scheduleAbility to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistencyProof of Identity and Employment AuthorizationMcCarthy is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
