What Youll Do

• Lead daily operations for assigned asphalt facilities, ensuring safety, integrity, and quality.
• Plan and implement operational changes based on plant performance and sales demand.
• Coordinate with associates to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
• Manage and analyze variable costs to maintain excellent cost control processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in preventive maintenance and plant reliability.
• Assist in developing annual operating budgets and identifying capital improvement projects.
• Serve as a liaison between regulatory inspectors and management.
• Identify and develop associates for future growth within the organization.

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent practical experience (10+ years).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operations and leadership role.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong understanding of asphalt plant operating procedures and mechanics.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to safety, environment, and transportation.
• Proven ability to analyze data, manage costs, and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with database programs like Viewpoint, PEAK, and E-Maint is a plus.
