POSITION OVERVIEW The Sales Specialist is the first point of contact for prospective clients reaching out about debt challenges. You will educate individuals on Credo Legal’s legal debt resolution program, assess whether they qualify, and guide them through enrollment. This is not a generic sales role, it sits at the intersection of client services, legal intake, and consumer advocacy. This role plays a critical part in identifying eligible leads and preparing them for enrollment. You will verify prospective client data against eligibility criteria, process new enrollments, and maintain precise records. Strong communication is key, as you'll interact with clients via phone, email, or SMS to gather information and address any changes, and connect with other teams for consultation calls prior to enrollment. This role supports the intake and enrollment process under attorney supervision. Main Responsibilities Handle inbound calls via phone or video platforms from prospective clients seeking information on debt relief and legal debt resolution options. Educate potential clients on Credo Legal’s legal debt resolution program, including how the firm challenges debt validity, asserts consumer rights under the FDCPA and FCBA, and provides attorney representation. Review prospective clients’ account information to identify qualifying unsecured debts (e.g., credit cards, medical bills) and determine program eligibility. Collect, review, and upload required intake documentation; discuss program payment structures and enrollment logistics. Enroll clients in their legal program, ensuring accuracy and compliance with program standards and applicable regulations. Maintain accurate and thorough CRM records and client documentation across multiple platforms. Deliver a professional, empathetic, and compliant client experience throughout every interaction. Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental needs and objectives What you bring High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 1 year of sales experience in a call center environment required. Experience in debt relief, legal services, financial services, or collections is a plus. Strong verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to handle sensitive financial conversations with professionalism and empathy. Ability to be a team player and strong communicator. Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving abilities. Comfortable working across CRM systems and multiple software platforms (e.g., Five9, Tidio). Proficient in Google Suite applications and cloud-based contact systems (e.g., Five9) Commitment to compliance, accuracy, and quality in every client interaction. COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE Full-Time, Hourly Base Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 per year On-Target Earnings (OTE): $75,000 – $100,000 per year (base + performance bonus) Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; two shift options available: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM ET or 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM ET Location: In-office, New York City (Financial District) Ready to make an impact?
