Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main.

Additional Details:

Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Required Credentials: Driver’s license/state ID address must match claimed residence to receive travel rate. Driver’s license is required for RNs working on a compact license. Ascension specialty exam required; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension EKG exam required; passing score of at least 80%, only 2 attempts permitted.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates must have at least 6 months of separation from Ascension to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details: Neuro/Ortho patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.

5 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required
