Responsibilities
- Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians.
- Position and instruct patients prior to examination; adjust the x-ray equipment and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph.
- Ensure image quality while adhering to radiation safety standards and ALARA principles.
- Maintain equipment and perform basic quality control checks as needed.
- Document procedures and patient information accurately and confidentially.

Requirements
- Active radiologic technologist license to practice in California (or eligible)
- ARRT Radiography certification (or eligible) with ongoing continuing education
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent education
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a hospital setting; willing to travel for a six-week assignment
- Strong patient care skills and commitment to radiation safety
