Speech Therapists Wanted

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate part-time and per diem Speech Therapists to join our team at Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Lowell. As a Speech Therapist, you will provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload. Weekly pay! Up to $55 an hour.

Responsibilities

• Screens patients/residents
• Evaluates patients/residents and develops appropriate care plans
• Provides direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care
• Consults with and trains patients/residents and caregivers
• Monitors efficiencies and documents activities according to our clinical documentation system
• Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations

Education & Experience

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Speech Therapy
• Current licensure by the applicable state agency
• Two (2) years of clinical experience in long-term care preferred
• CEU's per state licensure requirements

• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• Ability to deal with a wide range of personality types, ages, and diverse cultural backgrounds
• Ability to articulate and comprehend the English language
