Responsibilities Design Integrity and Verification – Designs products and product updates based on market requirements, technical product advancement opportunities, and manufacturability. Develops practical solutions within the production capabilities of the company. This includes the development, approval and release of detailed design drawings for manufacturing and sales. Code Compliance and Product Certification – Ensures all new products, existing products, and modified designs meet the applicable codes and standards. Technical Support – Provides technical support for all inter-company groups (aftermarket parts and service, new equipment sales, purchasing, manufacturing, planning, management, etc.). Provides technical support to incorporate new or modified designs into Fulton’s product offering. Provides technical content for product literature. Product Engineering Changes – Coordinates and completes Engineering Change Requests, as assigned. Lead custom engineering projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Knowledge of both Mechanical and Electrical Design Principles AutoCAD Inventor proficiency Demonstrated Competencies Communication – Ability to convey information clearly in conversation, interaction, and business writing. Analytical Thinking – Ability to tackle problems using a logical, systematic approach. Results Oriented – Focus on desired results, set goals, and strive to meet or exceed them. Thoroughness – Ensure work is complete and accurate; prepare for meetings and follow up on commitments. Initiative – Identify what needs to be done and act on it proactively. Physical Requirements Repetitive motion – Substantial movement of wrists, hands and fingers. Sitting – Prolonged seated work.
