Consulting Manager, Automotive sector (AI Platform Engineer)

The Role Our Consulting group is looking for an AI Engineer to join our Automotive Consulting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background project management, with a passion for driving strategic objectives. and ensure that the project progresses smoothly. Must be able to drive project forward and not only send email/messages. In addition to enabling consulting excellence through the Five Pillars of Consulting, the specific requirements for this position are below. This is a remote-based role, but travel to the client site will be required on a periodic basis. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced AIOps / AI Platform Engineer who will enable reliable deployment and operation of AI workflows in production environments. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI workflows. Implement monitoring for workflow execution, model performance, and data drift. Support environment configuration, release automation, and rollback strategies. Enable controlled promotion of workflows across development, test, and production environments. Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders through status reports and review meetings. Ensure alignment between business goals, project delivery, and change management. Foster collaboration between product, engineering, operations, and other departments. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information technology, or related field experience. Fluency in AWS based platforms is a plus. 4+ years of proven experience in AI, preferably in the automotive sectors or manufacturing sectors. Strong leadership skills to guide project teams, manage stakeholders, and drive success. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, CISSP or CSM is a plus. Education Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or master’s strongly preferred. Work Authorization Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future. Salary & Compensation Applications will be accepted until May 31, 2026. The annual salary for this position is between $81,450.00 – $129,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Incentives Eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, subject to applicable plan terms.
