Lawn & Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader

The company is seeking a dedicated Lawn and Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to join its team. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew in performing lawn and landscape maintenance services for residential and commercial clients
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including zero-turn mowers, walk-behind mowers, push mowers, weed trimmers, and leaf blowers
• Oversee and participate in spring and fall clean-up projects
• Perform hedge trimming and ensure proper care of plant beds
• Identify and distinguish between plants and weeds in landscaped areas
• Safely operate a truck and trailer to transport crew and equipment to job sites
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to company standards
• Promote a positive, can-do attitude and foster a collaborative team environment

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a landscaping crew leader, with references
• Proficiency in operating landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
• Experience with spring and fall clean-ups and hedge trimming
• Ability to identify plants and weeds in a landscape setting
• Ability to operate a truck and trailer efficiently
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card if not already held
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and teamwork
• Demonstrated positive attitude and willingness to grow professionally and personally
