Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking an OEM Application Engineer - West Region. This is a hybrid position where candidates for this role must reside within 50 miles of the following locations to be considered for the position: Chandler, AZ; City of Industry, CA Pleasanton, CA; Wilsonville, OR; Tukwila, WA or Littleton, CO.What you’ll do:Position Overview:This role will report to the OEM Regional Sales Director. The OEM Application Engineer leads the specification, testing and implementation of solutions for our customers using Eaton industrial components, power components and power distribution portfolio (PLC’s, HMI’s, variable frequency drives, relays, molded case circuit breakers, trip units, etc.).In this function you will:Interpret customer specifications, drawings and schematics to assist with quotes and solutionsDevelop and conduct training for regional sales team, end users and channel partnersProvide technical assistance for the regional sales teamEffectively communicate product line value proposition and strategiesProvide support on applicable codes and standards associated with the productsProactively communicate voice of customer (VOC) and recommend product enhancements to the product linesMaintain and expand product knowledge baseParticipate in product road mapping, strategy and planning sessions with the product linesQualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionMinimum seven (7) years of electrical sales/marketing and/or engineering experiencePossess a valid driver’s licenseNo relocation benefit is offered for this position.
