Duties

• Supervise day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high standards of food quality and safety
• Lead, motivate, and train staff in food preparation, customer service, POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS), and food safety protocols
• Manage shift schedules, coordinate staffing levels, and oversee team performance to maximize productivity
• Oversee food handling, inventory control, and food production processes to minimize waste and optimize costs
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile daily sales
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards across all kitchen and dining areas
• Support hiring efforts through interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members with effective training & development programs

Experience

• Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants with a focus on food service management
• Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management in casual dining or fine dining environments
• Demonstrated supervisory experience supervising hospitality teams with strong leadership and team management skills
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling and profit & loss analysis preferred
• Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control practices, and food industry regulations
• Experience managing budgets, conducting staff training & development sessions, and overseeing shift operations
• Strong communication skills for managerial communication, team training, interviewing candidates, and customer service excellence
