Field Service Engineer IC & HPLC

Salary: $60,008 - 107,993.6 per year Requirements:

• We are seeking an advanced degree holder with no prior experience, or a bachelors degree plus 2 years of hands-on technical experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex analytical instruments.
• We prefer experience with ion chromatography and HPLC.
• We look for a background in electronics, engineering, physics, chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
• Additional professional certifications are an advantage.
• We need strong electronics and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with ultra-high vacuum systems and high-voltage equipment is preferred.
• We expect excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management are important.
• We require proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management software.
• You should be able to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
• A valid drivers license is required, along with the ability to travel 50-75% within the assigned territory.
• You must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a variety of laboratory environments.
• Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
• You must follow safety procedures and quality standards.
• You should be able to respond to customer needs on short notice.
• Experience training and supporting customers on equipment operation is valuable.
• Experience documenting service work and preparing detailed reports is preferred.
• A demonstrated record of achieving customer satisfaction goals is important.
