Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and create tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based approaches and solution-focused therapies. Your clinical insights will help guide clients toward emotional and mental well-being.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adapting your methods to meet the diverse needs of clients with different backgrounds and challenges.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all clinical interactions, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies to uphold patient confidentiality and trust.

• Engage in comprehensive collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, involving psychiatrists, psychologists, and nursing staff to provide coordinated and holistic care tailored to each patient's needs.

• Facilitate regular case consultations and participate in peer review meetings to foster continuous improvement and enhance the quality of services provided.

• Provide education and resources to patients and their families, helping them understand mental health challenges, treatment options, and community resources available.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health research, integrating new knowledge into your practice to enhance care quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve at our Hospice Center include individuals facing life-limiting illnesses and their families. Your role is crucial in offering emotional support and therapeutic guidance, addressing issues such as grief, anxiety, and adjustment to serious health conditions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Current, active licensure as a Master Social Worker - Clinical Specialty (MSW - Clinical) in Michigan is essential.

• Proficient understanding of solution-focused therapeutic interventions is critical for meeting the unique needs of each client.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong therapeutic relationships.

Compensation and Benefits\n
