Although Hajoca is a large company, we work in a decentralized environment where each of our locations, called Profit Centers (PCs), is run by the Profit Center Manager as if it were their own small business. A typical Profit Center is the heart of our business and consists of a warehouse, counter, sales office, and (sometimes) a showroom. Our PCs conduct business under unique trade names and offer a customized business approach, honoring what's special about each local marketplace.

Moore Supply Round Rock is one of those trade names and is looking for a Counter Salesperson at their Round Rock, TX location.

About the Role:

• Confidently assist customers who purchase and/or pick up merchandise at the Profit Center.
• Accurately process and fill Sales Orders generated at the sales counter.
• Attract and retain customers.
• Work with the PCM to establish revenue and margin targets.
• Verify the Pick Ticket ship date is the date the material is picked up by the customer, update accordingly, and obtain customer signature before releasing material.
• Provide customers with reliable information regarding product specifications, pricing, and availability.
• Keep the counter area and merchandise displays clean, neat, current, stocked and safely displayed.
• Ensure security and control is upheld at this primary point of customer contact.
• Communicate to the Profit Center Manager and Credit Manager any changes in a customer's business that might cause a credit risk.
• Process cash sale returns and refund paperwork in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
• Inform supervisor of inventory levels or stock depletions that could impact customer service levels.
• Assist co-workers in servicing customers, including answering incoming calls, stocking merchandise in the warehouse, and pulling orders for delivery.
• Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
• Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.

About You:

• 1+ years' experience in customer service or counter sales; contractor sales preferred.
• Knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center

• Know of, be able to apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment.
• Be able to learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment.
• Be able to learn to operate and demonstrate hand tools.
• Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used to process orders.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English and Spanish.

Acerca del rol:

• Atender con confianza a los clientes que compran o recogen la mercadera en el Centro de Ganancias.
• Procesar y completar con precisin los pedidos de venta generados en el mostrador de ventas.
• Atraer y conservar a los clientes.
• Trabajar con el PCM para establecer objetivos de ingresos y mrgenes.
• Verificar que la fecha de envo del comprobante para recogerlo sea la fecha en la que el cliente retira el material, lo actualizar segn corresponda y obtendr la firma del cliente antes de entregar el material.
• Proporcionar a los clientes informacin confiable sobre las especificaciones, precios y disponibilidad del producto.
• Mantendr el rea del mostrador y las exhibiciones de mercadera limpias, ordenadas, actualizadas, abastecidas y exhibidas de forma segura.
• Se asegurar de que se mantenga la seguridad y el control en este punto principal de contacto con el cliente.
• Le comunicar al gerente del Centro de Ganancias y al gerente de crdito cualquier cambio en el negocio de un cliente que pueda suponer un riesgo crediticio.
• Procesar las devoluciones de ventas en efectivo y documentacin de reembolso de acuerdo con la poltica y el procedimiento de la empresa.
• Informar al supervisor sobre los niveles de inventario o agotamiento de existencias que podran afectar los niveles de servicio al cliente.
• Ayudar a los compaeros de trabajo a atender a los clientes, lo que incluye responder llamadas entrantes, almacenar mercadera en el almacn y extraer pedidos para su entrega.
• Deber completar con xito toda la capacitacin obligatoria en materia de seguridad y cumplimiento asignada.
• Realizar otras tareas debidamente relacionadas que le asigne su supervisor inmediato y otros miembros de la direccin, segn sea necesario.

Sobre usted:

• Ms de 1 ao de experiencia en servicio al cliente o ventas en mostrador (preferentemente ventas como contratista).
• Conocimiento de los productos vendidos en el Centro de Ganancias.

Habilidades del candidato ideal:

• Excelente servicio al cliente, comunicacin verbal y gran habilidad de comprensin auditiva.
• Conocimiento completo del producto y capacidad de sugerir productos asociados para la compra.
• Capacidad para establecer y mantener relaciones laborales positivas con clientes, proveedores y compaeros de trabajo.
• Capacidad para hacer preguntas de sondeo para comprender las necesidades del cliente, superar objeciones al recomendar soluciones rentables y solicitar el pedido.
• Conocimiento y aplicacin de medidas de seguridad en entornos de almacn y manipulacin de materiales.
• Capacidad de aprender a operar equipos de manipulacin de materiales en el almacn.
• Capacidad de aprender a operar y demostrar herramientas manuales.
• Capacidad para sumar, restar, multiplicar y dividir con nmeros enteros, fracciones comunes y decimales.
• Capacidad de aprender y utilizar sistemas informticos utilizados para procesar pedidos.
• Dominio funcional del ingls (lectura, escritura, oralidad y comprensin).
