Supervisory Aviation Safety Specialist (Branch Manager) (Temporary Opportunity)

Serves as a Branch Manager, directly supervising multiple employees engaged in mainly Professional, Technical and Engineering work. To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-J / FG/GS-14. This specialized experience is that which has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized Experience: Experience applying Federal Aviation laws and regulations for aircraft certification as it pertains to design, manufacturing, or airworthiness or equivalent that supports development of strategic plans and techniques in attaining organizational goals, development of strategies to enhance organizational performance, and influencing regulated entities to assume greater responsibilities for compliance and safety.
