HR Business Partner Manager

C.H. Robinson is seeking an HR Business Partner Manager to support our Enterprise Strategy & Innovation and Technology, and Robinson Managed Solutions (RMS) teams. In this individual contributor role you will support business leaders to impact and influence business strategy, people initiatives, and aide our leadership team to be effective in a changing environment. You will leverage people management tools and resources to align with business goals and personal development. You will partner directly with business leadership to understand their business needs, focusing on talent and leadership development, and facilitating alignment of HR initiatives and business strategy through partnership with HR Centers of Expertise. Your ability to navigate “the grey” and drive groups to make timely decisions through effective facilitation and communication skills will set you up for success in this role, as well as your ability to collaborate across groups and influence all levels of the organization.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:Partner with executive and senior leaders as a trusted advisor to align people strategies with business objectives and drive organizational successInfluence workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategies that enable long-term business growth and transformationLead talent management initiatives, including succession planning, talent reviews, calibration sessions, and leadership development programsCoach leaders on performance management, employee development, career growth, and organizational effectivenessUse workforce analytics, talent metrics, and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities, solve complex challenges, and inform strategic decisionsDrive change management and communication strategies that support business initiatives, organizational changes, and workforce transitionsCollaborate with leaders and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to develop and implement solutions that enhance employee engagement, culture, and business performanceFacilitate leadership assessment and development through feedback processes, talent evaluations, and targeted development planningAdvise leaders on team effectiveness, performance improvement, and strategic talent decisions to strengthen organizational capabilityChampion an inclusive, high-performing workplace culture by partnering with leaders to advance employee experience and DE&I initiativesQUALIFICATIONSRequired:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources or related degreeMinimum 6 years of progressive HR experienceMinimum 2 years' experience working directly with senior and/or executive level leadersMinimum 2 years' experience supporting a global business populationAbility to travel up to 20% (domestically and internationally)Preferred:Master’s degree from an accredited college or universitySPHR or SHRM-SCP certificationPrevious Human Resource Business Partner experienceExperience working in the technology industryDemonstrated experience consulting, influencing without authority, effectively resolving conflict, and thriving in a fast-paced, decentralized, matrixed, global environmentDemonstrated understanding of financial considerations, including budgets, P&L, etc.Proven track record of success in developing and coaching othersProficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programsExcellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to the appropriate audienceStrong strategic orientation, business savvy, critical thinking skills, and ability to evaluate broad impacts of workStrong strategic planning, problem solving/critical thinking skills, and ability to execute planRecognized organizational skills and ability to manage competing, high priority demands during times of organizational changeExcellent planning and project management skills with strong ability to effectively manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneouslyAbility to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization, including executivesAbility to motivate and encourage change, able to get positive results in a very large, dispersed organizationValues a diverse and inclusive work environmentWe will review applications for this role on an ongoing basis and encourage all interested candidates to apply at their earliest convenience.Compensation Range$84,800.00 - $191,000.00The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across all U.S. locations.
