Position Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable, professional, and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for safely dispensing medications, counseling patients, collaborating with healthcare providers, and ensuring compliance with all applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and accurately dispense prescription medications.
• Verify prescriptions for appropriate drug selection, dosage, interactions, and potential contraindications.
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, and proper storage.
• Provide excellent customer service and address patient questions and concerns.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals when clarification or medication adjustments are needed.
• Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations and company policies.
• Monitor medication inventory, expiration dates, and controlled substances.
• Assist with medication therapy management, immunizations, and other clinical services as applicable.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or equivalent pharmacy degree.
• Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in the applicable state.
• Strong knowledge of medications, pharmacy practices, and applicable regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous retail, hospital, specialty, or clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
