E-Scooter shop in Anaheim, CA is looking for a passionate and skilled Scooter Mechanic and Sales Associate to join our growing team! This is a fantastic opportunity to turn your love of electric scooters into a rewarding career where you'll help customers find their perfect ride while keeping machines running at peak performance. We are looking for Mechanics to assemble, service and repair e-scooters. Ideal candidate will have skills in both sales and services for e-scooters.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on electric scooters.
- Assist customers on the sales floor by recommending scooters and accessories based on their needs
- Perform pre-delivery inspections and quality checks on new inventory
- Handle warranty repairs and communicate repair status updates to customers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment
- Process sales transactions and assist with inventory management
- Stay up to date on the latest electric scooter models, parts, and technology
- Maintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the store
- Safely operate power tools, pallet jack or pushcart on a frequent basis
- Additional job-related tasks as assigned.
- Prior experience as a mechanic working on scooters, e-bikes, motorcycles, or similar small engine/electric vehicles
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, batteries, and motor components
- Strong customer service and sales communication skills
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and hand/power tools proficiently
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
- Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 35 kg required.
- Knowledge of using work order system and point of sales preferred.
- Ability to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.
- Experience safely operating a pallet jack or push cart.
- Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to perform quick and efficient repairs
- Self-motivated with and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily tasks.
- A safety-oriented mindset, capable of conducting quality checks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well within a team.
