Job Posting

Provides support services within Medical Imaging in a variety of capacities including reception chart preparation digital image management including query retrieve digital image sharing and archived image management/retrieval. Patient Access Coordinators greet patients acquire patient/exam information all applicable consent forms and paperwork and enter data into Epic. Answer incoming phone calls/voice mails and provide support to leadership physicians and staff. Ensure exemplary customer service in greeting and orientation of patients and visitors. Interviews the patient for complete demographic and financial data to complete the registration process accurately efficiently and promptly. Collects appropriate monies obtains appropriate signatures notifies patients/guests of hospital regulations policies and services

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Formal training in medical terminology hospital finance and customer relations is preferred.
• Previous admission/registration experience or previous physician office hospital or other frontline customer contact experience in a business setting preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to interview educate and advise patients of hospital policies and professionalism to positively interact with other Overlake personnel are required.
• Demonstrated customer service skills also required.
• Knowledge of the financial requirements of insurance HMO and PPO organizations and state and federal programs highly desired.
• Epic experience also preferred.
