NICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Location Webster, TX

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, 5 weekends required.

Job Description Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), dedicated to providing comprehensive care for critically ill infants. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care tailored to the needs of our patients.

Responsibilities Administer medications and manage care for patients meeting specific acuity levels. Safely handle and care for infants with various medical needs including CPAP and High Flow Nasal Cannula. Perform procedures such as intubations, lab draws, and UAC/UVC placements. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to the established medication administration policies. Demonstrate developmentally appropriate care for preterm infants and new techniques as necessary. Participate actively in communication with family members regarding patient care and conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN license. BLS and NRP certification required. Experience with NICU procedures and equipment preferred. Must be proficient in medication administration and patient assessments.
