Business Development Manager (Litigation) (Washington)

Our client, a globally recognized Am Law firm renowned for its sophisticated litigation practice and representation of Fortune 500 companies, is seeking a Manager of Business Development (Litigation) to support a leading litigation practice and its attorneys.

This is a highly visible opportunity to partner directly with practice group leadership and senior litigators to drive strategic business development, client growth, cross-selling, market intelligence, and profile-raising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic business development initiatives for the Litigation practice
• Drive pitches, proposals, RFPs, client targeting, and cross-selling opportunities
• Leverage market and competitive intelligence to identify business opportunities and inform strategy
• Support events, sponsorships, speaking opportunities, rankings, publications, and media initiatives
• Advise attorneys on business development and client development strategies
• Manage BD projects, budgets, experience databases, and reporting

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of progressive business development experience
• Law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred
• Strong background supporting litigation practices, attorneys, pitches/RFPs, and client development
• Excellent writing, communication, relationship-building, and project management skills
