CNC Setup/Operator Machinist

**Position: **CNC Machinist**Location: **Leander, TXShifts/Hours Available:1st Shift: 7AM - 5PM2nd Shift: 4PM - 2AMRequired Experience:Machining: 3 years (Required)CNC: 3 years (Required)Requires reading, writing and basic to intermediate math skills.Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics.Able to work under tight production deadlines.Ability to read and effectively use basic tools such as calipers and micrometers.Position ResponsibilitiesSet up, maintain and operate 3, 4 and 5 axis lathes and/or mills.Operate mills and/or lathes to produce production parts and prototype parts with minimal supervision.Review work orders to obtain part specifications.Responsible for setting up tooling and fixtures independently.Perform periodic inspections to ensure parts are within required tolerances.Knowledgeable and able to operate either Haas or DMG Mori controls.Able to edit programs under supervision to correct dimensional issues that may arise during initial set-up.You should be proficient in:Machine Setups for Production RunsBlueprint ReadingMachines & technologies you'll use:CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) (Haas, Dmg Mori Seiki)CNC Lathe (5+ axis) (Dmg Mori Seiki) #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
