About the Role

Candidates must have strong Emergency Department experience, including pediatric exposure, and previous travel nursing experience. The unit manages high-acuity conditions including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction (MI), cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure . Floating is required.

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients across newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

• Assess, prioritize, and manage patients presenting with trauma, stroke, sepsis, cardiac emergencies, respiratory failure, and other acute conditions.

• Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient response, and rapidly intervene when changes in clinical condition occur.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members while supporting triage, acute care, trauma, observation, and other ED patient-care areas.

• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation using Epic and float to other assigned areas when required.

• Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) License Required at Time of Submission.

• Minimum 2 Years of Emergency Department Nursing Experience Required, Including Pediatric Experience.

• Previous Travel Nursing Experience Required.

• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC Certifications Required; TNCC Must Be Active and In Hand at Time of Submission.

• Epic EMR Experience Required; Charge Nurse Capability Highly Preferred and Must Be Willing to Float.

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide skilled, rapid, and patient-centered emergency nursing care across a high-acuity and diverse patient population.
